Overview ; Directions; Food and Drink. The grounds were landscaped by 'Capability Brown' and over the years the estate and residence were transformed into a grand Stately Home. George IV, Queen Victoria, Prince Albert and Edward VII were very familiar with the Castle and its hospitality. - The Coach House Family Restaurant is situated in the stables courtyard area meaning that you can start the day the medieval way - with a good hearty breakfast. Various meals are available throughout the day and the children's menu is fully endorsed by Annabel Karmel MBE, author of 15 best selling books on children's food.
- The Undercroft can be found in the in the central courtyard of the castle. Traditional fayre and English breakfasts are served in the morning and a carvery is available every day for lunch. There is a mother and baby area offering bottle and baby food warming facilities.
