Paultons Family Theme Park in Hampshire is open NOW and offers a great family day out!

Paultons Park, on the edge of the New Forest, has some amazing rides great for family fun! The variety of things to see and do includes rides for thrill seekers and younger visitors, animated shows, play areas, and other fun activities for all ages in garden setting.

Hold on tight as the awesome Sky Swinger takes you for a spin! Fly through the air on this exciting ride as it twirls and tilts, lifting you six meters above the ground! This beautifully hand-decorated ride also features special double seats so that smaller children don't miss the fun and can enjoy the ride with Mum or Dad!

The Paultons Park is now closed for the season.

The Park will open daily from Sunday 12th February until Monday 20th February inclusive and then open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday until Friday 23rd March and then open daily until Monday 1st October.

During October the Park will be closed every Tuesday and Wednesday and then open daily from Thursday 18th October until Monday 5th November inclusive.

Peppa Pig World opened in 2011 and is a must see for families with young children who are fans of the show. With 7 rides and the largest Peppa Pig shop in the UK, it is a definite must-see this year!

Highlights

The Cobra.The Cobra is the fastest and longest rollercoaster at Paultons. Guests swoop from a height of 17 metres along a 450 metre track featuring sharp twists, turns and camelback hills. Another ride which is unique in the UK. The Cobra was also home to the world's first weather report from a moving rollercoaster!

Waverunner.Wave Runner is an amazing 'watercoaster'. Jump in a dinghy and race fellow guests down the bumpy water chute to the bottom.

The Stinger.This giant bug definitely has a sting in its tail. A really fun rollercoaster that is ideal for all the family to enjoy together

The Edge Ride.EDGE is Paultons newest ride. Seating 40 riders at any one time, this amazing ride spins down a 92 metre track at speeds of up to 43mph and reaching a height of 15 metres. Edge is the first and only ride of its type in the UK. Dare you be one of the first to ride on the Edge?

The Paultons Park itself is very well maintained and has plenty of picturesque scenery and paths to explore. Aside from the rides, there are animal attractions, a river walk (including a working water mill) and several adventure playgrounds suitable for children up to the age of 12 with parental supervision.

Food at the park is reasonably priced (about £5 for a meal including a drink) and is cooked fresh. There are a few fast food stalls, but these mainly sell ice creams and snacks as opposed to meals. Judging by the hundreds of park benches dotted around the park, it is probably more of a self-catering park - there are eight different gardens to have a picnic in!

The staff are very friendly and do not rush you through like some major parks do, so Paulton's Park manages to project a friendly, safe and family image effortlessly.
