Eden Project

The Eden Project is a place where modern science meets Mother Nature. It is home to a dramatic global garden the size of thirty football fields. One of the giant conservatories is a majestic rainforest cathedral; the other is host to the fruits of the Mediterranean and the flowers of South Africa and California.

Outside in the landscape grounds you will find tea and lavender, sunflowers and hemp.

Spectacular domes filled with crops, wild plants and even waterfalls, bubble out of a derelict clay pit and will leave even the hardest to impress teenager open-mouthed.

A Time of Gifts 25 November - 30 December

Join in the festivities at Eden this Christmas, with an array of seasonal treats and festive fun, including magical decorations and longer opening hours to brighten up the darkening evenings.

There's ice-skating on the glacial-themed rink, with frosty fun for all the family. Brush up on your baking expertise and make some tasty Christmas treats in the Eden bakery's workshops, available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11 November - 18 December. Be part of the stunning lantern parade, winding its way through the site on late-night openings from 25 November - 30 December, with lots of seasonal activities and carols from Cornish choirs.
